During our account opening process, Account Verification (eKYC) is mandatory. This involves the user taking a live photo or video, which is then compared with the photo on the identification document provided. This helps us confirm that the person is the rightful owner of the identification being used.
We also capture other information such as the unique device information at the time of account opening. This helps us check whether the attempt matches the usual behaviour of the rightful user or if it may be coming from someone else.
These checks are in place to prevent anyone from using edited documents or another person’s identity, and to keep your account and information safe.
