If you choose transferable, a 1% fee will apply.
-
If you choose non-transferable, there’s no fee.

-
GOinvest
-
GOremit
-

-
JomPAY
However, in the event, your Transferable balance is insufficient for the following use cases, your Non-Transferable balance can still be utilised and converted to transferable but are subjected to the 1% convenience fee: -
Transfer
-
DuitNow Transfer
Sample scenario:
User A has RM50 in his transferable balance and RM200 in his non-transferrable balance, but he wishes to transfer RM120 to User B. However, User A only has RM50 in his transferable balance leaving him RM70 short. User A can convert RM70 from his non-transferable balance to make up for the remaining amount but will need to pay a 1% convenience fee.
See this calculation breakdown: -
Overall eWallet Balance is Transferable balance + non-transferable balance = RM250
-
Transfer amount requested = RM120
-
Transferable Balance = RM50
-
Shortfall amount to convert from non-transferable balance = RM70
-
Convenience fee for the amount taken from their non-transferable balance is 1% of RM70 = RM0.70
-
Total Converted: RM70.70 (d + e)
Should User A choose to proceed, the Total Converted will be deducted from their non-transferable balance and the intended transfer amount of RM120 will be credited into User B’s eWallet account. User A’s eWallet balance is now RM0 (transferable balance) and RM129.30 (non-transferable balance)
