- Restart your device
- Turn on mobile data, set the eSIM as your preferred SIM, and enable data roaming
- Toggle the eSIM off and on again in your device settings
Alternatively, try manually selecting the network operator:
- Go to "Network operators" or "Network Selection"
- Turn off "Select automatically"
- Choose a telecom provider covered by the eSIM and try again. You can scroll to the FAQ section at the bottom of the product details page, under "What's the expiry date of my eSIM?" and click the link to view the full list of network operators.
Note: We recommend using the SoftBank network while you're in Japan.
