SafeTrip is an affordable travel insurance for domestic and international travel that provides compensation in the events of travel inconvenience, sickness, injury, accidental disability or death during your trip. In addition, there are three optional benefits available for International Plan which covers adventurous and winter sports, home contents and pet. You are also allowed to purchase the International Plan up to 11:59pm (Malaysia time) of the day after your departure from Malaysia (“Post-Departure Cover”). Please note that a 24-hour waiting period applies before claims can be made.

Note:
- This benefit is not applicable to Post-Departure Cover. CFAR provides reimbursement for 50% of the irrecoverable loss of travel fare and/or accommodation expenses paid in advance, provided that the cancellation must occur within 30 days and at least 72 hours before trip commencement.
- Cashless admission is available for hospital confinement in overseas due to accident and/or food poisoning (applicable to International Plan). Any claims under Medical Expenses due to sickness or Domestic Plan will be on reimbursement basis.
- Follow-up Treatment in Malaysia includes up to two (2) sessions of follow-up alternative treatments by Acupuncturist, Chiropractor or Physiotherapist.
