National Public Holidays shall refer to holiday declared by the legislation governing public holidays of Malaysia, including Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak. It is fixed by the federal government and are observed nationwide with some exceptions.
National Public Holidays includes Birthday of Prophet Muhammad, Chinese New Year, Labour Day, Wesak Day, Birthday of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Hari Raya Puasa, National Day, Malaysia Day, Hari Raya Haji, Awal Muharram, Deepavali, Christmas Day and/or any other national public holidays in Malaysia as declared by the Government of Malaysia.
