SafeTrip will not pay for any claim in respect of the following:
- Failure of the Insured Person to check in according to the itinerary supplied to him/her;
- Failure to obtain written confirmation from the common carrier or their handling agents showing the original scheduled departure time and the actual departure time of the delayed incoming common carrier towards the transfer point;
- Strike, riot or industrial action publicly known which commenced or was announced before the departure;
- The late arrival of the Insured Person at the airport or port;
- Any additional expenses incurred such as repurchase of new ticket and additional accommodation charges;
- Any missed travel connection of a chartered common carrier;
- There is an alternative onward common carrier made available to the Insured Person within 6 hours from the actual arrival time of the Insured Person at the transfer point.
