✅ Before You Start
1. Check that your Travel eSIM is still installed.
Once removed, it cannot be reinstalled.
2. Ensure you are already at your travel destination.
Your Travel eSIM will only activate when you're in the destination country.
3. Turn off your local SIM line (e.g. Maxis, CelcomDigi, U Mobile).

Step 1: Go to Settings
Step 2: Tap Connections or Network & Internet
Step 3: Select your primary SIM
Step 4: Toggle Turn On SIM to OFF -
iOS
Step 1: Go to Settings
Step 2: Tap Mobile Data or Cellular
Step 3: Tap SIMs or Data Plans
Step 4: Select your primary line
Step 5: Toggle Turn On This Line to OFF
✅ Check and Set Up Your Travel eSIM
4. Turn ON Mobile Data for your Travel eSIM.
5. Turn ON Data Roaming for the Travel eSIM (not your local SIM).
6. Manually set the APN (Access Point Name) for your Travel eSIM.
6.1 Find your correct APN here:

Step 1: Go to Settings
Step 2: Tap Network & Internet
Step 3: Tap Mobile Network
Step 4: Tap Access Point Names
Step 5: Tap on “+” icon
Step 6: Add APN settings with the correct information -
iOS
Step 1: Go to Settings
Step 2: Tap Mobile Data
Step 3: Tap SIMs > Select Travel eSIM
Step 4: Tap Mobile Data Network
Step 5: Fill in APN under “Mobile Data” and “LTE Setup”
💡 Tip: Use the search bar in Settings and type “APN” if you can’t find it.
7. Manually select a local (destination) network.

Step 2: Tap Network & Internet
Step 3: Tap Mobile Network
Step 4: Tap Network Operators
Step 5: Turn off Automatic
Step 6: Select a network manually -
iOS
Step 1: Go to Settings
Step 2: Tap Mobile Data
Step 3: Tap SIMs > Select Travel eSIM
Step 4: Tap Network Selection
Step 5: Turn off Automatic
Step 6: Select a network manually
8. Set the correct Network Mode or Type (e.g. 3G, 5G).

Step 2: Tap Mobile Network
Step 3: Select Travel eSIM
Step 4: Tap Preferred network type
Step 5: Select 3G or relevant option -
iOS
Step 1: Go to Settings
Step 2: Tap Mobile Data
Step 3: Tap SIMs > Select Travel eSIM
Step 4: Tap Voice & Data
Step 5: Choose 3G or relevant option
9. Turn OFF Airplane Mode on your device.
10. Turn OFF VoLTE (Voice over LTE) for your Travel eSIM.

Step 3: Select Travel eSIM
Step 4: Look for VoLTE or 4G Calling
Step 5: Toggle OFF -
iOS
Step 1: Go to Settings
Step 2: Tap Mobile Data
Step 3: Tap SIMs > Select Travel eSIM
Step 4: Tap Voice & Data
Step 5: Toggle VoLTE OFF
11. (iOS only) Turn OFF “Limit IP Address Tracking”
