If the event of your death due to accident, AIA will pay your Nominee/Estate based on your TNG eWallet account balance (eWallet & GO+ balance in total) valued as at the 1st of the month in which the incident happened. The payout will be doubled if your death is due to road traffic accident or travelling in public conveyance.
For Basic Plan:
- Benefit payout is 10 times of your TNG eWallet balance, up to a maximum payout of RM25,000.
- Example: Certificate is effective on 20 August 2023, and your eWallet account balance is RM2,000. Accident happens on 30 October 2023, and your account balance as at 1 October 2023 is RM 2,700. Therefore, the amount payable by AIA will be RM25,000 [min of (RM2,700 x 10 times) and RM25,000].
- If such accidental death is arising from road traffic accident or travelling in public conveyance, the total amount payable by AIA will be RM50,000 (double of RM25,000).
For Pro Plan:
- Benefit payout is 20 times of your TNG eWallet balance, up to a maximum payout of RM50,000.
- Example: Certificate is effective on 20 August 2023, your eWallet account balance is RM 2,000. Accident happens on 30 October 2023, and your account balance as at 1 October 2023 is RM2,000. Therefore, the amount payable by AIA will be RM40,000 [min of (RM2,000 x 20 times) and RM50,000].
- If such accidental death is arising from road traffic accident or travelling in public conveyance, the total amount payable by AIA will be RM80,000 (double of RM40,000).
