Users need to have an NFC compatible device with minimum Operating Software requirement of iOS 13 (Apple) and Android 4.4 (Android & other models). Users need to ensure their device meets the minimum OS and it is installed in their devices prior to attempting to reload via eWallet.
For iPhone users, you can validate your iOS version of your device by doing the following:
Step 1: Locate and select the “Settings” app.
Step 2: Once in the “Settings” app, tap “General”.
Step 3: Proceed to tap “About” and note the “Software Version”.
Step 4: If your iOS version has not been updated, tap “Software Update” under “General” and check for available updates to install. Click “Download and Install” to proceed.
For Android users, you can validate your OS version of your device by doing the following:
Step 1: Locate and select the “Settings” app.
Step 2: Once in the “Settings” app, tap “About Phone” or “About Device”
Step 3: Proceed to tap “Android Version” and note your version information displayed
Step 4: If your OS version has not been updated, check the “Software Update” page for instructions to complete the OS update
Some brand/ model of phones purchased from different countries may cause issues to the NFC functionality/ NFC is not supported. Please check with your mobile device’s manufacturer prior to attempting to use the TNG Charm with your mobile device.
