This means that CI Insure does not cover any illnesses, disabilities or conditions prior to the issue date or effective date of reinstatement of the certificate of insurance, whichever is later, and that you have reasonable knowledge of this pre-existing condition.
Pre-existing condition is referring to the condition(s) only when you are first covered and shall not be applicable after the first year of coverage. However, if there is a break in continuity of the insurance coverage after the first year of coverage, the pre-existing condition shall apply again.
