If your QR payment fails, please check the following:
1. Wrong QR code type
In Thailand, there are two types of QR codes. TNG eWallet only supports Merchant QR codes.
Personal QR code
Used for local person-to-person transfers.
Does not support overseas QR payments.- Merchant QR code
Used by registered shops and businesses.
Supports international QR payments using TNG eWallet.
What should you do?
If you see an error message after scanning, it usually means a Personal QR code was scanned.
Please ask the shopkeeper for a Merchant QR code and try again.
2. Insufficient balance
Make sure your TNG eWallet has enough balance before trying again.
