Cancellation note is a note prepared by AIA to ease your communication with your mortgagee (bank) for the cancellation of your existing fire insurance policy with the mortgagee. It consists of all required policy details of your new policy with AIA such as benefits, coverage, sum insured and a summary description of your intention to cancel the existing policy. A cancellation note will be provided to you upon request during your application.
If you opted for cancellation note during your application, you will receive it via email within the same day.
