However, if the amount you reload using credit card each time exceeds the quota limit that you have, that amount will be classified as a Non-transferable eWallet Balance instead of a Transferable eWallet Balance.
Three different scenarios illustrated as below:
- If your quota limit for the month is RM1,000 and you reload RM300 into your Touch ‘n Go eWallet using a credit card, this reload amount will be classified as Transferable Balance. Your quota balance is now RM700.
- If your quota limit for this month is RM1,000 and you reload RM1,100 into your Touch ‘n Go eWallet using a credit card, this reload amount will be classified as Non-Transferable Balance. Your quota limit will remain as RM1,000.
- If your quota limit for this month is RM1,000 and you reload RM1,000 into your Touch ‘n Go eWallet using credit card, this reload amount will be classified as Transferable Balance. Your quota limit will be reduced to RM0. Subsequent credit card reloads will be classified as Non-Transferable Balance. You may opt to reload into Transferable Balance but incur a 1% administration fee on top of the reload amount. Alternatively, you may wait until your Transferable Balance quota limit resets on the first day of the following month. Learn about administration fee here.
