What happens to a Touch ‘n Go eWallet dormant account?

The account status will change from “Active” to “Suspended”, but users will still be able to login to their eWallet. However, they are limited to the reload function only. (This clause shall be waived until further notice, as determined by TNGD)
A dormant fee of RM2.50 will be imposed annually and will be deducted from their remaining eWallet balance.
If there is no transaction for a period of one hundred and eighty (180) days from the suspension of the account, the account will be “Blocked”. Users will no longer be able to access their account. (This clause shall be waived until further notice, as determined by TNGD)
Any remaining eWallet balance from an account that remains “dormant” for a period of seven (7) years, will be transferred to the Registrar of Unclaimed Money.
